| How
do I Save My Enlarged Images? |
 |
Prepare -
Before enlarging images you should consider:
| » |
Write
Protecting the Original Image - If the image you
are working on is important, make it 'Read Only' before
opening it in Imagener. That way you will be forced to
give enlarged images a new name and will not overwrite
the original at any time. |
| » |
Removing
Write Protection - On the other hand, if you need
to do a lot of batch enlarging and desire to overwrite
the originals, make sure that the 'Read Only' bit is turned
off. |
| » |
Always
Use 'Save As' - Unless you have a lot of experience
and are aware of how destructive computer programs can
be in overwriting files, use the 'Save As' command to avoid
overwriting originals. |
|
 |
 |
Determine
the type of image you want to save. Imagener has a side benefit of
allowing you to open files of one type, and save them as any other
supported type. |
 |
Browse
to the directory where you want your image to be saved. Give it a
unique name and press the Save button. |
 |
File Locations. Make sure you know where
your files are being saved. Go to Extra, Options... and look in the
File Location section under the Common tab to choose the default 'open
in' and 'save in' directories. When you save your images, make sure
to check in the 'save in' directory for your enlarged images. |
