YOU HAVE CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD
- WHERE IS MY DOWNLOAD? |
A: |
There are two possible reasons you are not seeing
your download e-mail yet:
- We always send out your product download
e-mail immediately. If you have not
received
yours,
CHECK
YOUR SPAM
FILTERING
SOFTWARE
or
BULK
MAIL
FOLDER in your e-mail browser. It is likely that your SPAM filter
sent your download e-mail to the bulk mail folder or deleted
it if you have
that option set.
- Our license server has delayed sending the download. Because
of a large amount of orders, system backups or system reconfigurations,
licenses can be delayed. THIS IS RARE although it does occur
from
time to time. If you have not found your license in your SPAM
or bulk mail folder and you still do not have your license, please
allow
up to 40 hours for the license server to generate your license.
Rest assured that your license is in our system and will be sent
to you
shortly.

I'M HAVING TROUBLE GETTING IMAGENER TO RUN
CORRECTLY |
A: |
You have a virus on your computer. Even if you have
anti-virus software, the latest viruses are specifically designed to
fool even the best anti-virus programs.
There are two (2) ways to check this:
- If you have two or more computers networked together, scan the
drive from the root (C:\) directory from ANOTHER COMPUTER. Start
by making
the root drive shared (in Windows Explorer, right click on the
root drive C:\, select Sharing and Security, select "Share this
folder on
the network."). Next, go to the other computer, select the C:\
drive of the first computer and scan for viruses. YOU WILL BE SURPRISED
WHAT
YOU FIND!
- Start your computer in Safe Mode. This is normally accomplished
by clicking Start, Shut Down, Restart,
OK. Press F8 right away when the computer restarts, then F5. Otherwise,
check the manual that came with your computer to find out this
procedure if this does not start your computer in safe mode. Next,
scan for viruses
in safe mode.
Imagener is a totally self-contained, solid application and ALWAYS
runs on computers without viruses. |

[autoexec.nt] or [config.nt] will not run as an MS-DOS or Windows
application ERROR |
A: |
This is an error caused by corrupted files
on your computer. You should begin by checking for viruses immediately.
Next, Microsoft has a procedure to correct your files. Again, this
has nothing to do with Kneson's software products. To
see Microsoft's resolution to this issue, CLICK HERE.

WHY YOU ABSOLUTELY NEED IMAGENER |
A: |
Imagener is the one function that the major image software
packages left out. Imagener enlarges images with much more precision
and complexity than other picture software, yielding astounding results
with just the click of the mouse.
|
| |
|
|
11. |
HOW TO GET THE BEST RESULTS WITH IMAGENER |
A:
|
Images that start out at a very low resolution cannot
be reliably enlarged by any software program. There must be sufficient
information within the image for it to be enlarged satisfactorily.
For example, many images on web pages are intentionally reduced in
size and quality to increase the speed of web pages. Many of these
images are 72 or 96 PPI (pixels per inch). Imagener, Photoshop© or
any other image manipulation software program will do little to allow
you to enlarge these types of images. Imagener works best on images
that have at least a 200 PPI resolution, and works better on images
with higher resolution.

OPEN FILE - SECURITY WARNING ERROR OCCURS WHEN IMAGENER INSTALL
IS RUN. |
A:
|
You could receive this message after
you install Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 when you attempt
to run the Imagener install (all versions).
Windows XP Service Pack 2 enhances the security of your computer
by tracking files that have been downloaded from the web and
that could potentially harm your computer by running or installing
malicious programs. Specifically, Windows checks that those programs
have a digital signature attached. |
|
|
| |
|
Digital signatures verify the authenticity of software
and contain information about the publisher of the software. The
text in the dialog box indicates that publisher information
could not be found, and the Publisher field is listed as Unknown
Publisher. The issue is generated from the InstallShield files, not
from us.
SOLUTION: Click on the SECOND link under the text "Click
this link to download your product in a .ZIP archive" in
your download e-mail. UNZIP the files, and run the file "setup.exe" to
install Imagener. |

File->Open DOES NOT WORK |
A:
|
File->Open
may work slightly differently than you are used to. It opens the
file after
the file has been selected in
the Explorer and Files area's
in the lower left of the main application window. Double-clicking
on the selected file has the same effect. |

when you install Windows 2000, Windows NT 4.0 with Internet
Explorer 4.0, Windows

I CAN'T SAVE OR PRINT IMAGES |
A:
|
Please
check Imagener
Features for the version of Imagener you are running. The
Demo version does not allow you to save or print. The Enhanced, Professional and Unlimited versions of Imagener of course allow printing. Also
refer to How
do I Print my Enlarged Images? page for further

CAN IMAGENER UNLIMITED CONVERSIONS FROM
PIXEL TO VECTOR BE CONVERTED BACK TO PIXEL FORMATS? |
| A: |
Imagener Unlimited converts images to vector for enlargement
only, then allows you to save in a variety of pixel-based formats,
including the format of the original image. It does not save images
in vector
based file formats - all of the conversion occurs transparently behind-the-scenes. |

A:
|
Imagener works like Windows Explorer.
Browsing images (clicking on images in the Files window) can be viewed
in miniature form in the Preview pane. To open the selected image you
must double click the
file name. |
